Today is National Remembrance Day and a day where this country comes together to grieve for those whose lives have been cut short by a freak natural disaster. Parents have lost children, siblings have lost family, teachers have lost their charges and a colleague, schoolmates have lost friends. I cannot imagine the amount of pain the survivors, and what the loved ones of those gone, have to suffer. No one deserves to go through this.
Over the last few days, I've read a handful of comments blaming the Ministry, the Minister, and the school. To these irresponsible keyboard warriors, you are fueling fire with oil, and pouring salt on wounds. We all have endured loss at some point of life. Recall those days, then you multiply that loss by the dead count reported. Then you search within your soul and find what makes you still human. And you reflect.
